Narendra Modi 3.0 Government News Latest: As the newly-elected government announced the portfolios of various ministers, Nirmala Sitharaman returned as Finance Minister in the Narendra Modi 3.0 Cabinet. Nitin Gadkari returned to take charge charge of the Road Transport and Highways ministry while Subrahmanyam Jaishankar was made responsible for External Affairs – the same roles as the previous Cabinet. Besides, Ranath Singh returned to his role as the Defence Minister, and Ashwini Vaishnaw was made Railways Minister. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to office for a third term on Monday after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
