In addition to the country’s purse strings in the ministry of finance, the EFF also wants the position of speaker of the National Assembly, and the new speaker “must not be a crook”.
These are just two of the EFF’s demands that the party’s negotiation team plans to put forward going into talks about who will run South Africa in a coalition arrangement.
EFF president Julius Malema said the party would go into coalition negotiations with their lists of demands in hand inspired by the party’s seven cardinal pillars.
