Some City of Johannesburg residents should brace themselves for an even colder winter starting from Monday as City Power embarks on load reduction to protect its electricity infrastructure from overloading.

Spokesperson Isaac Mangena reminded its customers that should load shedding, which is currently suspended, be reinstated by Eskom, load reduction will continue together with load shedding.
